Mobile money services

The World Bank and the Ministry of Telecommunication and Postal Services say South Sudan will introduce a Mobile Money Service soon. The lead I-C-T Policy Specialist at the World Bank Group, Doctor Tim Kelly, said that the introduction of the Services will benefit the people of South Sudan in urban and rural areas. Doctor Kelly added that the Mobile Money Services have been successful in Kenya. Doctor Kelly said that the World Bank Group will identify an investment project to the tune of 42 million US dollars -in which 2 million dollars will be set aside for mobile application projects.
