Lakes postpones primary school leaving exams over ‘technical issues’

Primary School Leaving Certificate Examinations has been canceled in Lakes state due to technical issues, education officials have said.

The exams were scheduled to start today. The number of registered candidates in the state is unclear.

“Our machine which used to print exams has broken down,” said Marial Makoi, Director of Education in the ministry.

He added that the papers will be produced after the problem is rectified.

He encouraged the students to continue studying as they wait for a new date that will be announced.

Central Equatoria State and Pibor Administration conducted the South Sudan Primary leaving examinations last week.
