Joseph Majok Tuok has been appointed commissioner of Twic County, Warrap.

He succeeds Biar Biar Ring. Mr. Biar was sacked by the state governor after the State’s Legislative Assembly voted in favor of his removal.

He was accused of illegal taxation charges.

Warrap State Information minister, Dhel Gum says the appointment is a ‘routine procedure’.

Though little is known about the new commissioner, he was once an office manager of the deputy minister for petroleum mining (national).
