An inferno has burned to ashes six county department buildings in Bor town in Jonglei State.
The county commissioner says the fire engulfed the agriculture department, two SPLM offices, two offices for education, and a health department.
It is not clear yet what properties have been destroyed in the incident, but Commissioner Mamer Ruk says nothing was recovered last night.
He says the fire might have been caused by a short circuit.
He said: “One of the electrical engineer came and did some wiring in those fire offices; unfortunately we don’t know what happen. In the night at 10pm, the fire erupted at the compound, and all the offices are now burnt to ashes.”
