How important is the Convention on the Rights of the Child?

South Sudan has ratified the Convention on the Rights of the Child, an international human rights treaty meant to protect children’s rights to health, education and freedom from discrimination.

Official says, the Country have tens of thousands of children without parental care and this has forced some of them to go onto the street.
