Headmaster survives road ambush

The commissioner of Lobonok, Jubek State, says headmaster of a secondary school in the county survived a road ambush on his way
from Juba.

Gwori Kose says David Laila, headmaster of Yapa Secondary School, and his companion were driving on a private car when unidentified armed men fired at their car.

“The car was shot at and the windshields were all broken but with the power of God, he is not injured,” Mr Kose told Eye Radio.

There have been reports of insecurity in the area. Recently, a fighting left several people injured and houses burnt to the ground.
