Central Equatoria State Government has launched a ‘go back to school’ campaign in Yei River County.
The campaign aims at ensuring that all children have access to learning opportunities at all levels.
Speaking at the launch, Central Equatoria Education Minister Gombu Wani urged parents and education stakeholders to sent children to school.
“Our goal in the ministry is to ensure that all school age children and those who dropped out are enrolled in schools,” Wani told Eye Radio.
“I encourage all parents and educators in Central Equatoria to take a full responsibility for the education of our children at all levels.”
The occasion was marked by tens of thousands of students, parents, government officials and education development partners.
