Environment minister threatens legal action over dirt

The national Minister of Environment says he will take legal action against stakeholders who do not keep their environment clean.

Yesterday, Deng Deng Hoc, issued a ministerial order urging government institutions and private sector to keep their surrounding free from pollution.

He says business people should keep their shops clean all the time.

Mr. Hoc urged the state governors to direct their commissioners and mayors to launch and coordinate local waste campaigns.

He said civil society institutions and youth groups should play an active role in implementing the national campaign in order to maintain a clean and safe environment.
