Community leaders from across the country are in Juba for a meeting to help the government find lasting solution to the conflict.

They are coming from the three regions of South Sudan. They include four community leaders from Western Equatoria State who arrived in Juba this morning.

The Governor of Western Equatoria, Bangasi Joseph Bakasoro, who accompanied the elders from his State, said they want to help the government end the crisis.

“We brought these elders so that we can sit with the elders in the other State together as one family, one people, one nation to cement and understand ourselves,” said Mr Bakasoro.

“We need to begin even with elders and find out; Can elders also do something for the country or not?”

The meeting commences tomorrow morning in Juba.
