China donates $200,000 to the violence affected in South Sudan

The Chinese government is donating 200 thousand US dollars to provide humanitarian assistance in South Sudan.

The donation will help provide food and provide essential services to people displaced by the violence.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs received the money from the Chinese Ambassador to South Sudan.

Ambassador MA Qiang said China is also providing the country with technical staff in the oil fields and doctors at the Juba Teaching Hospital.

“I am very delighted to sign the agreement on a grant of 200 million RMB with Minister Barnaba and handover to him the cash donation $200,000 on humanitarian aid,” said Amb Qiang.

“The cooperation between our two countries has developed in all areas with good faith and achieved good progress.”

Ambassador MA Qiang said China will also provide mosquito nets and blankets.
