Appeal for rescue in Manyo County

There’s been an appeal for help after civilians were killed in Manyo County leaving people fearful and vulnerable in the bush.
According to County Commissioners 17 civilians were killed in Thor-gwang payam of Manyo County last Tuesday.
Authorities of Manyo County have asked the National Army to help.
Manyo County Commissioner Athib Ajang Okich said that Manyo county headquarters is still under rebel control and that the rebels who fled from Kaka, Maloth and Renk have taken WadaKona as their base and come and attack all areas in Manyo, including Renk County.
 
Mr Athib called on the humanitarian agencies to give urgent help as man people are still living in the bush and some have crossed the border to Sudan.
