The Office of the Senior Presidential Envoy, Adut Salva Kiir, says it has delivered food and essential household supplies to support patients receiving treatment at Juba Military Hospital.
According to a statement from the office, the donation included rice, flour, sugar, beans, lentils, milk powder, bedsheets, mosquito nets, plates, and other basic items aimed at improving the welfare of patients at the facility.
Officials said the support will benefit both civilian patients and wounded members of the armed forces undergoing treatment at the hospital. Many of the injured soldiers were evacuated from different conflict-affected areas across the country.
The office said the assistance is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen humanitarian support and improve welfare services for vulnerable groups, while recognizing the sacrifices of service personnel injured in the line of duty.
Hospital management welcomed the donation, saying the supplies will help improve patient comfort and well-being during recovery.
Officials added that the initiative is part of broader community support programs aimed at strengthening healthcare assistance and ensuring continued support for people in need across South Sudan.
