The Governors of the ten States of South Sudan resolved that the first key issue that the government should do is the restoration of peace.
The four day forum was organized by the office of the President, through Directorate of Decentralization and Inter-Governmental Relations.
The resolutions were read by the caretaker Governor of Northern Bahr El-Ghazal State, Kuel Aguer Kuel.
“The first key issue is the restoration of peace, the government to continue with peace negotiation .The second part is unity; government has to pursue the nation- building agenda. The third, is reconstruction, national government to avail special fund and taskforce to undertake the reconstruction of the three affected state.” Kuel said.
President Salva Kiir has adopted the resolutions.
