Violence and downing, major causes of death in Unity

A survey conducted by the UNOCHA reveals that violence and drowning are the major causes of death in the former Unity State.

A new study found that an estimated 7,165 deaths due to violence and 829 deaths related to drowning took place between 2014 and 2015, and majority of the victims were children under 5 years.
