The SPLA deputy chief of staff for training has denied reports that he had been missing for two days.
Thomas Cirilo said he was in Switzerland for a course on humanitarian principles.
He returned on Saturday.
“So, I just want to assure the public that I was not missing and it was just a pure lie and I am here and I have resumed my duties,” Mr Cirilo said.
He said he met the President this morning to discuss the issues of security in the country.
