Sudan offers 150 scholarships to S Sudan students

Sudan has offered 150 scholarships to South Sudan for various degree and diploma programs, education ministry officials have said.

The Director for training and external relations at the ministry, Benjamin Gabriel Apayi, says most of the scholarships are for science courses.

He says the government of Sudan will only provide tuition fees and the students will have to cater for their other needs.

“Students are expected to settle for their accommodation and feeding. We are opening it on Monday. Students will start getting there applications for three weeks,” Mr Gabriel said.

He added that application forms are available at the Ministry of Education in all the ten states.
