The South Sudan Basketball Federation has launched a Basketball Court in Kuajok, Warrap State.
The court hosted its first game between Warrap and the neighboring Western Bahr el Ghazal on Monday.
According to the Federation, the groundbreaking event was attended by the state governor, youth minister, traditional leaders, and the Deputy Secretary of the Federation.
According to the national basketball federation, the court is the first of many that are currently under construction across the country.
A press statement from the Federation reads that: “We are excited to begin the process of developing local talent by providing facilities and development spaces.”
