South Sudan grabs 3rd place in Nairobi Combat Sport Games

South Sudan finished third in the Combat Sport for Africa that took place in Kenya over the weekend and finished second in the female category.

It won two (2) Bronze and one (1) silver in the 55 and 65kgs for the men with the country having the fewest number of fighters with Uganda and Tanzania having the big number of fighters.

“We actually South Sudan where the fewer fighters but we got a bronze and two silver,” Boro okillo, team manager, told Eye Radio.

The inaugural continental extra combat contest had attracted players from over ten countries in Africa.

Among the most notable contestants include global icon and Ugandan Moses ‘Motor Mouth’ Golalo. Golalo is the reigning World Kick Boxing Federation K1 Champion.

The event was held at the Safaricom Stadium Kasarani Indoor Arena.
