Huda Micah told Eye Radio that the disease is spreading quickly to other parts of the county.

She said the disease is a significant threat to the farmers and calls upon the state ministry of agriculture to take immediate step to control it.

“We have not yet identified what kind of disease it is….It is only affecting the crops like beans, even sorghums now”, the Lainya Commissioner, Huda Micha said.

She said several farms are already affected creating worries among the farmers in the County.

She also said the State Ministry of agriculture has sent an assessment team to investigate the crops disease.
