President Kiir reshuffles opposition ministers to TGoNU

President Salva Kiir has reshuffled Ministers of the SPLM in Opposition in the Transitional Government of National Unity.

The changes were done in a series of presidential decrees, read last evening on the state television, SSBC.

SPLM IO Members of Parliament to Transitional National Legislative Assembly were also reshuffled.

In the new appointments, Lt General Michael Chang jiek has been appointed as the Minister of Interior, Ezikiel lul Gatkuoth as the Minister of Petroleum, Lt general Alfred Ladu Gore, Minister of Lands, Housing and Urban Development.

Lt General Gabriel Duop Lam has been appointed the Minister of Labor, Public Service and Human Recourse Development, Mr Gabriel Thok Juk Deng Minister of Mining, Lf General Yen Oral Lam Tut, as Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology, Mrs Sofia Pal Gai has been appointed the Minister of Water Resource and Irrigation.

President Kiir also appointed two deputy Ministers in the TGoNU and three presidential advisors.

In another separate decree, the president relieved all the SLPM IO members to the Transitional National Legislative Assembly and appointed 50, most of them reappointed.
