Mundri raids leave 7 people dead

Seven people were killed and two others wounded in a cattle raid in Mundri West County, Western Equatoria, on Wednesday night. The incident took place in Bangolo Payam.

The acting county commissioner, John Cleopa, says Mr. Cleopa told Eye Radio that the raid was between two communities from neighboring states that are still grazing their cattle in Western Equatoria.

Mr. Cleopa said the wounded people were taken to Lui hospital in Maridi County for treatment. Forces have been deployed in the area to main security.

More 500 cattle were also stolen from the camp.
