People in Mayom and Abiemnhom counties in Unity State say they have no drugs in their medical facilities.
They raised the matter with a state government team that visited the two areas this week.
“There are no drugs for both human beings and animals, especially for cows, goats and sheep,” said Peter Makuth, Information Minister.
He added that other issues raised during the visit include hunger, insecurity and poor roads.
Mr. Makuth said Caretaker Governor Joseph Monytuil, has promised to address some of these issues.
