Lobong drops three ministers and Torit mayor

The Governor of Eastern Equatoria State, Louis Lobong Lojore has relieved three Ministers and the Mayor of Torit Town in a mini-reshuffle.

They include the State Minister of Animal Resources and Fisheries, Martin Lorika, the Minister of Lands, Housing and Public Utility, Hassan Urbano and the Minister of Local Government and Law Enforcement, Lokai Iko.

In the decree over the weekend, the Governor Lobong did not mention the reason for relieving them.

No replacements have been named for the positions.

The decree says the governor will carry out consultations before appointing people for the positions.
