Three youth among the 19 who were arrested for possessing arms in Rumbek County of Lakes state last week have been released.
They were arrested while moving along the roads in the county.
The Inspector of Police in Lakes State, Isaac Mayuom says the three were released after an investigation found that they had no guns.
“Those who were carrying the illegal arms are waiting for court trials,” said Mr Mayuom.
Mr. Mayuom says the security situation in the area has been calm after the arrest.
