Three people have been killed and four others wounded in an ambush on the Bentiu-Leer road, Southern Liech State.
The state Minister of Information, Peter Makuth, says the gunmen ambushed the vehicle in Ariang village over the weekend. They looted luggage and burnt the vehicles.
Mr. Makuth says a county commissioner was attacked on the same road on Monday.
“We strongly condemn these ambushes,” he added.
Mr Makuth did not mention the identity of the attackers.
