The Kenyan government has now resolved to close down only Dabaab camp, which hosts mainly refugees from Somalia.
Last week, the Kenyan government announced plans to permanently close both Dabaab and Kakuma, the two main refugee camps in the country.
Kakuma has been exempted from the closure because there are no serious security threats, according to Kenyan media.
The country is sheltering thousands of refugees from South Sudan.
It has announced a budget of about $10 million for the repatriation of about 500,000 refugees in the country back to their home countries.
It says Dadaab was being used by terrorists from Somalia.
In a press briefing to the Kenyan media on Wednesday, the Secretary in the Ministry of Interior, Major General Joseph Nkaissery, said the country would no longer welcome refugees from Somalia.
