Juba Police arrest 43 members of “notorious” Lologo gang

The police in Juba have arrested at least 43 members of Lologo-based gang group known as Wrong Boys, for having clashed and killed a young man during the holidays.

In a statement posted on the official page of the National Police, Major General Daniel Justin says the suspects will be arraigned in court upon investigation.

“The police have arrested 43 notorious boys commonly known as wrong boys at lologo residential area after killing of their colleagues in a fight between the two groups.s

The police did not identify the victim, and Eye Radio’s attempts to get a comment from General Justin were not immediately successful.

Pictures posted by the police service on its social media page displayed weapons ranging from machetes to metals to wooden sticks fanged with nails, as the dozens of young people are paraded in the sun.
