An SPLM-IO splinter group says it has disowned some of its members who came to Juba yesterday to negotiate with the government on their behalf.

The Federal Democratic Party, led by Gabriel Changson, says it has disassociated itself from the team before reaching any agreement with the government.

In a statement seen by Eye Radio, Mister Gabriel Changson says its leadership did not approve the coming of the advance team.

The team, consisting of 17 members, is headed by a Mister Gabriel Yoal Dok.

Mister Changson called on any third party not to engage with the disowned members in any capacity or behalf of their party.

He says the FDP is ready to negotiate with the government any time in Nairobi under the auspicious of the Kenyan government.
