The Ministry of Labor and Public Service is asking foreign companies to provide internship opportunities to South Sudanese as part of their exit strategy. The undersecretary in the Ministry of Labor and Public Service Madam Hellen Achiro told Eye Radio that that it is compulsory for the foreign firms operating in the country to provide internship to nationals as they develop exit strategies. Madam Achiro added South Sudanese Refugees abroad will represent South Sudan in the Intergovernmental Authority on Development IGAD once they come home.The NGO’s bill which is designed to regulate their operations is still in the National Parliament awaiting endorsement.
