Delegates from the Great Lakes Region are holding discussions on how to address humanitarian and security crisis in the region.
The discussions especially focused on Burundi, the Central African Republic, DR Congo, South Sudan and the terrorism menace.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Barnaba Marial, says Defense ministers from the region briefed the meeting on the situation in their countries.
He spoke to Eye Radio’s Mayen Deng this morning from the Angolan capital, Luanda.
