A church organization has called on the government to solve the shortage of US dollars in the country.

The Hand of Grace South Sudan says this would enable parents to educate their children abroad.

Bishop Martin Mogga Ipoga is the representative of the organization.

He made the remark in Juba while marking the International Day for Child Puberty over the weekend.

“In the Republic of South Sudan, most of the children are suffering because of war; most of them are in trauma”

“Some of them their parents brought back from Uganda from Nairobi where the school fees are becoming more expensive due to the increase in dollar rate in our nation,”

Bishop Mogga said they are going to give scholarship for 15 children under a program known as the Education for Children under Puberty.

Hand of Grace is a Nonprofit Organization which provides homage and care to orphans and disadvantaged children.
