Central Bank regains control of website

The Bank of South Sudan has restored its website two days after it was allegedly taken over by another administrator.

In an official statement dated April 11th, the financial institution said its website suffered a “technical glitch” that disrupted service on Sunday.

The statement said “the Bank of South Sudan’s technical team contacted the server administrators to restore the service on the same day.”

It stated that the web service is now functioning as usual.

“No damage has been caused so far to the banking system network as the BoSS web server is hosted outside the Bank’s core network.”
