JUBA, South Sudan (Eye Radio) – The head of the Catholic Church in South Sudan, Cardinal Stephen Ameyu Martin Mulla, has appointed Rev. Br. Dr. Bruno Dada as the new Vice Chancellor for the Catholic University of South Sudan.
Cardinal Mulla, who also serves as the President of the Sudan and South Sudan Catholic Bishops Conference, named Dr. Dada to the position in a letter dated July 15.
Dr. Dada takes over from Dr. Matthew Pagan, who has served as Vice Chancellor for the past 12 years. Prior to this appointment, Dr. Dada held the position of Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at the same university.
According to the official letter, Dr. Dada will officially begin his new role on September 1, 2025.
The Catholic University of South Sudan, established in 2008, holds the distinction of being among the first private universities in the country.
