The Bright Stars of South Sudan have defeated the Riverains de la Mer Rouge (the River Reds), the national football team of Djibouti 6-nill at Juba Stadium this evening.
Robert Duku scored the first goal through a penalty. Striker James Joseph Mogga scored two consecutive goals for the Bright Stars following the penalty, while Dominic Abui, scored the fourth goal just a minute before the end of the first half.
The Bright Stars scored four goals in the first round. Ater Thomas, scored the fifth goal in the second round.
Substitute Khamis Leon scored the six goals for the Bright Stars few minutes after coming from the bench.
The Riverains de la Mer Rouge defeated the Bright Stars 2-nill in the first leg of pre-qualification of the 2019 African Cup of Nations tournaments in Djibouti last week.
The final result is (6-2) on aggregate.
