CES Cabinet dismisses claims of Equatoria Tower sale, vows to protect public assets

The Central Equatoria State Cabinet has dismissed rumors regarding the sale of ‘Equatoria Tower,’ reaffirming its unwavering commitment to protecting all government and public assets.

The confirmation was made during the 5th Ordinary Council of Ministers Meeting, chaired by Paulino Lukudu Obede, the deputy Governor of Central Equatoria State.

In a memo presented by Hon. Janet Aya, the State Minister of Finance, Planning And Investment, the Cabinet deliberated on issues surrounding agreement between the State Government through the Investment Authority and The “𝐔𝐀𝐏 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐋𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝” concerning the joint venture [JV].

The Ministers added their voice, calling upon the public to disregard any allegations circulating on the social media claiming that the “Equatoria Tower” is sold, describing the property as “𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 ” and vowed to protect it entirely.
