President Salva Kiir Mayardit has dismissed Gloria Nyoka Joseph Lasu as Executive Director of the National Bureau of Standards in a decree issued Friday evening.
In the same decree, the President also removed Joseph Esbon Waiwai as Director General of the Petroleum Exploration and Production Authority in the Ministry of Petroleum.
Following the dismissals, Oiylang Dominic Kanuto was appointed as the new Executive Director of the National Bureau of Standards and Secretary to its Council.
President Kiir also named Eng. Lual Chol Dak as the new Director General of the Petroleum Exploration and Production Authority.
The changes reflect the government’s ongoing reshuffle of senior positions in key national institutions.
