The Mayor of Yambio, Gbudue State, says five people have been arrested over recent killings in the town.
On Friday, a resident identified as John Zechariah was shot dead at the freedom hall in Yambio.
In a separate incident, a woman and her child were killed over the weekend by unidentified gunmen.
“We are going to take those who have been arrested to the court and we are still looking for other Culprit,” said Daniel Badagbu, Mayor of Yambio.
One of the leaders of the arrow boys, who spoke to Eye Radio while sitting with the mayor in Yambio, admitted that some of them have been killing people in Yambio. He called for forgiveness.
