Three people died this morning when a vehicle they were traveling in was attacked by bandits along Juba-Yei Road.
The Juba-bound vehicle, which was carrying several passengers, was attacked about 50 kilometers from Yei town.
“That vehicle was coming alone without escort,” said a relative of one of the victims.

There have been reported attacks on vehicles plying the road. Last week, about 14 pastoralists were attacked and killed by armed men along the road.
