National Speaker lashes out on corruption

The parliament should not entertain corruption and should have zero tolerance for it, the speaker of the National Legislative Assembly has said.

Hon Magok Rundial cautioned government officials that those accused of corruption will be severely punished.

He was speaking during the opening of the seventh speakers’ forum in Juba.

Hon Rundial said the legislators will no longer entertain corruption. But he did not mention how many government officials who were accused of involvement in incorruption have been prosecuted.

“Corruption should be weeded out in all its forms wherever it exist, those found involve in practicing it should be brought to book and be severely punish ”, said Rondial.

Honorable Rondial urged the speakers of the states’ Legisilative assemblies to unite the people of South Sudan, because they are the representatives of the people in the government.

The Seventh Speakers’ Forum, which is being organized by the National Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, will conclude tomorrow.
