Three killed, one injured in Kajo-Keji armed attack

Kajo-Keji County, Central Equatoria State (Eye Radio) — At least three people were killed and another injured during a violent attack in Nyainga-Muda Village, Bori Boma, Kangapo Two, on the evening of June 13, 2025.

According to the area Commissioner, Wani Jackson Mule, suspected armed youth believed to be linked to hold-out groups carried out the attack around 7:00 PM.

The victims include 82-year-old headman Julius Loke, medical personnel Stanley Wani Philip, and 27-year-old Simaya Lodu James. A 19-year-old named Tunda Bosco was injured with a gunshot wound to the left foot.

The assailants remain at large.

In response, Commissioner Jackson has announced the deployment of a Joint Operation Force to secure the area and protect residents and their property.

He also urged the local community—including leaders, religious figures, civil society organizations, political representatives, and youth—to support peace and development initiatives.
