Stand-up comedian Augustino Primo Kenyi Jada known by his stage name Loginyo who often featured at the weekly KilKilu comedy entertainment died today after battling with cancer for close to a year. He was 23.
Logno-nyo had been bravely battling health complications for about two months in the intensive care unit at Juba Teaching Hospital.
He was diagnosed with cancer on his foot in May 2024, which resulted in an incurable wound and eventually led to the amputation of his leg.
Despite this significant setback, his unwavering spirit saw him return to the stage, bringing laughter and joy to many.
Unfortunately, he faced yet another challenge with a respiratory issue that ultimately led to his passing on Thursday.
“Logno-nyo ‘s talent in stand-up comedy was truly remarkable. He grew to become one of the most celebrated new comedians within comic team in the entertainment industry in South Sudan, leaving an indelible mark on the comedy arena, said MC Mc Lumoex, the founder of Kilkilu Ana Comedy Group.
His unique character was built on strong values, confidence, courage, and teamwork.
“These qualities endeared him to many and will remain etched in our memories.
