SSFA announces inclusion of 11 FIFA international referees

The South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) has announced the addition of 11 FIFA International Referees to its roster, marking a significant milestone for the country’s football scene.

Among them are three women, underscoring the growing prominence of South Sudan in the international football community.

The announcement was made by the SSFA Referees Committee, chaired by Januar Frezar, alongside Referees Department Manager Mr. Debuol Paul, and in the presence of SSFA Secretary General Mr. Victor Lawrence Lual.

The referees were officially recognized for successfully passing FIFA’s mandatory fitness tests, a rigorous process that demonstrates their readiness to officiate at the highest levels of international football.

This achievement not only highlights the skill and dedication of South Sudan’s referees but also serves as a testament to the country’s rising profile in the global football arena. The certified referees are:

  • Malong Ring Nyier
  • Anthony Kiri Emmanuel
  • Solomon Okwera Lino
  • Emmanuela Akoo Emmanuel
  • Stella Sebit Mathew

Assistant Referees:

  • Gasim Modir Deyiya
  • Duwuki Robert Henry
  • Daniel Dau Dau
  • Nelson Beno Samuel
  • Jane Charles Ladu
  • Josephine Martin Bangu
