The SPLM-In Opposition generals who were expected in Juba today are stranded in Pagak due to coordination problem, an official has said.

The spokesperson of the forces, Maj Dickson Gatluak, says the generals were to come ahead of security forces that are required in Juba before the return of Dr Riek Machar.

Maj Dickson says the generals are still waiting to be transported to Malakal by road before they are flown to Juba.

“All the necessary arrangements are being done. But we are certain that they will be in Juba anytime from now,” he told Eye Radio.

The generals are expected to be part of the Joint Integrated Police, particularly the Criminal Investigation Department and Revenue Authority.

Maj Gatluak said they are yet to hear from the Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission which organized for the flight.
