Brig Lul Ruai
A former member of the SPLM in Opposition forces, Lul Koang Ruai, has been appointed the spokesperson of the SPLA.
Brig. Lul Koang Ruai was the spokesperson of the opposition after the eruption of violence in Juba.
He broke away from the opposition last year and joined the government.
Brig Lul succeeds Philip Aguer, the incumbent governor of Jonglei.
