A retired bishop of the Anglican church has urged the citizens to find home-driven solutions to problems facing the country.
Enock Tombe says the country should identify issues that are affecting peaceful coexistence within communities.
He says it is the responsibility of every citizen to end cattle raiding, land grabbing, and other pertinent issues affecting the communities.
“I have had enough time with the leaders in Addis Ababa since 2014 up to now, I have spoken enough. So, my emphasis now is to talk to the people of South Sudan,” said Bishop Tombe.
“Let them not wait for IGAD for the UN or African Union or even our neighbors. We should be owning the peace process ourselves. Let us also identify what are the problems because the problems are at different levels,
“The grassroots level, middle level, and in the top once we finished with the bottom, we come to the middle and go to the top because you can’t solve the problem if you yourself are a problem maker,
“If we are raiding our own cattle, we grab our lands, we rape our women but if we do the peacemaking, we will be blessed.”
