IGAD’s Monitoring and Verification Mechanism has published a summary report of recent violations of the Cessation of Hostilities Agreement.

It says the abuses were committed by the government and the SPLM-In Opposition.

The report says that the SPLM/A-In Opposition forces launched attacks on Renk in Upper Nile State between 17^th and 26^th January.

The forces also fired attack on Nassir on the 30^th January and shelling of Bentiu on 1st of February, killing of two civilians.

IGAD disclosed that Government Forces burned shops, houses and a mosque in Nassir County of Upper Nile State between 19^th and 21^st January.
