South Sudan journalists and media stakeholders gathered in Juba on 9th May, 2019 to commemorate the Press Freedom, under the theme; “Media for Democracy and Peace: Journalism key Role in Promoting Sustainable Peace and Democracy,” and to also honor veteran journalist, activist and politician, the late Alfred Taban.
