IGAD says peace talks will resume on Wednesday in Addis Ababa after a break for one month.

An official at the IGAD Secretariat in Addis Ababa who requested anonymity says delegates of both the government and the SPLM in Opposition were notified of the resumption yesterday.

The talks were postponed last month to allow the warring parties to consult on the powers of the prime minister and the system of government during the transitional period.
