The government delegation to the peace talks in Addis Ababa says it has not received any invitation from IGAD for the next round of talks.

Last month, Chief Mediator Ambassador Seyoum Mesfin told Eye Radio that the talks may resume this month.

“IGAD has not informed my delegation about the resumption of the talks,” said Michael Makuei, spokesman of the government delegation cum Minister of Information.

Meanwhile, the SPLM-In Opposition is holding a meeting in Pagak in Upper Nile State to consult on the peace process.
