Mr Mogae told the Ethiopian Premier, who is also the current IGAD Chairperson the parties have made positive progress towards formation of the Transitional Government of National Unity and have reached consensus in the sharing of ministerial positions.

The South Sudan parties have also agreed to work in coordination on security matter, he added.

However, Mr Mogae indicated that the opposition has rejected the formation of 28 states by the government.
